Why is a low bruising potato important?

Potatoes go through strenuous stages of processing — from harvesting and quality assurance tests, to washing, storage, and transportation — before reaching the consumer. Because of this processing, the starchy tubers are susceptible to bruising. However, by using only wild and cultivated potato genes Innate®’s Generation One potatoes have significantly reduced the risk of damage during those stages. Watch the video to learn more or read up on Generation One’s other advantages.
